RECOMMENDATIONS for JANUARY
SWIMMING POOL OWNERS with MESH
COVERS: inspect and check cover straps for tension. Call
for more information.
RECOMMENDATIONS for OCTOBER:
SWIMMING POOL
OWNERS with SOLID WINTER COVERS: to save premature
wear and tear on these covers be sure to have an operational
cover pump.
RECOMMENDATIONS for
SEPTEMBER:
SWIMMING POOL
OWNERS with MESH COVERS: a recommendation that has
worked very well for others is to keep the water circulating
with the cover installed until the weather definitely turns
colder. This allows you to continue to manage the water quality by
circulating and adding chemicals efficiently. Call for more
information.
RECOMMENDATIONS for
AUGUST:
ALGAECIDES:
they are highly recommended as a part of a weekly
maintenance program especially this time of year after the
water has gained degrees in temperature.
RECOMMENDATIONS for POST JULY 4th USE:
WATER CHEMISTRY
RELATED: be sure to test your water. After an
extremely hot holiday and heavy bather load it's recommended
you be sure to test for "combined" chlorine. This will
determine the best way to "shock" your swimming pool. Bring
in a water sample if your test kit does not test for "total"
chlorine. Shocking with chlorine when a significant level of
combined chlorine is present may not allow you to reach
desired results and very well could be a waste of money.
A clarifier after a
heavy bather load is also recommended.
AUTOMATIC VACUUMS:
handle with care and clean bags (or filter) more often
as they too are facing a heavier than normal workload if
your pool was heavily used.
